Das Programm zielt auf eine Verbesserung der Lebensqualität ab, die maßgeblich durch die Vermeidung von Angina-Pectoris-Beschwerden und dem Erhalt der Belastungsfähigkeit beeinflusst wird. Die Diagnostik und Therapie nach standardisierten Kriterien wird ebenso gewährleistet wie die Versorgung mit Medikamenten und Anschlussheilbehandlungen. Intensive Schulungen der Patienten zu Ursachen, Verlauf und Vorbeugemaßnahmen führen zu einem sensibleren Umgang mit Symptomen und erforderlichen Therapien.
