In Ergänzung des aktuellen Versorgungsangebotes werden im Rahmen strukturierter Behandlungsprogramme (Disease- Management-Programme, DMP) interdisziplinäre, berufsund sekorenübergreifende Behandlungen in einer integrierten Versorgungsform mit dem notwendigen logistischen Hintergrund gewährleistet. Den an Brustkrebs erkrankten Frauen wird besonders durch individuelle Beratung und Informationen durch die Vertragspartner die Möglichkeit gegeben, stärker aktiv am Behandlungsprozess mitzuwirken.
